What an amazing start to the weekend!  I knew Mario was a great teacher but now I know how much of an understatement that really is.  To see the reaction from our West Coast Swing teachers as they listened to him open up the weekend and all the Ah Ha moments in just the first 2 hours of workshops is still making my brain hurt.
Magic, Magic, Magic!. He is the Rosetta stone of West Coast Swing.

Day 2 and I am really looking forward to it!

We had a great turnout at our first Christmas Party. The Lewisham hotel was decorated with lights , Santa statues and lots of Christmas calls and tinsel.

The invitations went out telling everyone to come suitably "decorated" for Christmas, otherwise Red had a performance forfeit that had to be honored. Most came with something Christmassy but a few did not get the memo. Red picked Charles Gil and Selena Smales to perform the forfeit. She created special Santa Sacks for them to dance in. The trick was holding them up as Selena found out. The result: a piece of Swing Dance Downunder history...watch for the nipple tweak slipped in by Selena.
